@doorny70 Hey bud. Are you Russian, or Ukrainian? But I bet you know what's going on there, right? What I'm saying is, whether we like it, or not, USA is a huge part of the global economy, so people around the world, need to read/watch news, about what is going on there, as it can have an impact on all of us. Being aware of the political situation overseas, can't hurt.
I stopped watching it after 5 min. It was TRUMP, who was always pushing for tax cuts, for the richest of the rich. He was fullfiling the promise to the rich elite. Those who donated heavily to his campaign, certainly didn't do it out of good heart, and they were expecting "return on their investment" And that is the biggest failure of American Democracy. MONEY! And it doesn't matter if it's a Republican, or a Democrat. If you want to win, you've got to spend a lot to be visible, and no one gives you millions, and won't expect something in return.
Decent film. Just what I was in the mood for. The story is obvious, it's a trial. Now it's a psychological movie, and it questions morality. Morality of jurors, who don't give a rats ass, and just want to go home. Morality of prosecutor, who is also running for a District Attorney, and morality of the main character "Juror #2". It also asks the viewer, "What would you have done, in either of those places?" Good cast, feels very relatable. The witness testimonies aren't just described, but it is projected as their point of view. Worth watching, I'll give it 7.5, just because it was just what I was looking for, at the time.
@ aNdR3J2702 My guess is, that you've accidentally gotten yourself a 4K version, and your system can't handle it, so the voice synch get's worse and worse. But if you skip back, does the synch gets corrected again for a while? I had 1080p DD 5.1 x264 and it was fine.
I feel so dumb. I mean, I knew that there was an option to upload subs, but for the hell of me I just couldn't remember. In a worst case scenario, you can just get them in other language, and translate them in an on-line subritles translator. It may have a few language errors, but it is in fact quite good. The one I uploaded, were not translated this way.
Video and audio are watchable, however I've stopped watching it, as it feels like there are some "picturesque" scenes, and you may need to have it in all the glory to appreciate it fully.
From what I've read, Reagan would be a centrist by today's polarized standards. There's no middle ground anymore. And I'm not talking only about US politics, but it's the same in UK, and in Poland as well. (those are the ones I follow. BTW... hey Canada man, aren't your "right" trying to get rid of Trudeau from the Prime minister office with an in-house "no confidence" vote? Very democratic 🙄) Now, I would like to watch something about the man, but I don't know, is this movie a documentary, or the republican love story? But no matter how his policies were at the time, his legacy will always be "Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!", and the world was much better for it. How did he manage for him to agree to it? My bet... it was money. But now we have Putin, who wants to undo all of that. Trying to consolidate power... can you say WW3?
Wow... hell of a series. I'm at ep.5, and continue on binging the rest of them. I just want everyone to know, IT IS NOT a comic book story. It's a dark gangster/mafia series, that has very little to do with Batman movies, beside some names, and locations.(except the last one, which I couldn't even finish). I just wanted to comment on ep.4 with Sofia in Arkham. It reminds me of the movie "Changeling", with Angelina Jolie (based on true story, highly recommended-strong 8). It is just so terrifying, And it really happened. So, this series gets a strong 8 stars from me. [edit] I've changed my mind. I'm giving this series 9 stars. I just loved it. I hope, they'll make a 2nd season (maybe a 3rd), but no more than that, because I'd like to have it all wrapped up, before they'll run out of ideas, and ruin the series, as they did with many others. Or maybe this series was just a prelude for "Batman part 2".
@Admin Hey guys, did you turn off the italic, bold, and underline HTML tags? A while ago, I have asked you to turn those on, as I do care about having my posts easily readable to others, so those formatting tags are helpful for everyone. And last time @Admin obliged, and turn them on. @Nick I have previously asked them about your second question. They told me, that it is heavy on bandwidth. And I get it, all those torrents having to be updated, but I get it, It sure would be nice to know (especially for older movies) which torrents are still available. Sometimes I have to download a whole torrent list, to find a live one. (star next to the torrent doesn't seem to work) Maybe update them, once a week, or even a month? Thanks
quote: "It follows on from the newest Batman film," Question... do I need to see the last batman to enjoy this show? I mean... I hear good things from other members about this show, but do I have to watch the whole last "Batman"? I fell asleep watching it, and on the second try I just turned it off. And I do enjoy superheroes movies, just that one was a disaster. So, again, is the show better than the movie?
One more, this guy's stand-up. I've watched like 4 of them lately, and they all are hilarious. If you like stand-up, I'm sure you're gonna like his routine as well.
