thought this was a great movie, not the best acting or script but the premise of it was truly refreshing to see the vigilante aspect taken to the extreme without being problem for the public at large. anyone that has an issue with this is blurring reality with movies and needs to take a step back.
@asd-9864 what spoiler? the fact season 3 will be full blown woke, family drama galore, with teenagers telling adults what to do and nothing ever happening? it's not much of a spoiler is it.. when nearly every damn series or movie is doing the same script.
loved season 1, enjoyed season 2, after this first boring season 3 episode i'm going to predict i won't be watching much of it any more, i can already see signs of the virus.
Could you make a 2-hour dark, depressing, nihilistic, poorly lit, grim, violent film with tons of gore that looks like a mixture of Saw and Hostel, making Robin Hood a sadistic killer who enjoys shooting arrows into the eyes of 9 year old children? Yes. Should you? No.
Disney wants Star Wars to hit all four marketing quadrants male adults, female adults, male kids, female kids. But when you try to hit all four, you usually end up writing for the youngest quadrant, because kids can’t follow complex political arcs, kids don’t tolerate slow pacing, kids don’t like moral ambiguity. kids don’t buy tickets alone, but adults will go “for the kids”. So the intended broad audience becomes a practical child‑first audience. Adult viewers will feel the storytelling is thin, short scenes, constant movement, simple arcs, emotional beats every few minutes, characters that can be clipped into GIFs,.achieving minimum adult engagement.
@trusemi you must have been watching a different movie, this isn't even close to being woke. the woman does nothing unbelievable and the rest of the cast have good roles. this is a fun action movie, far from being politically woke.
